ABOUT TELLUSCHAIN

Silicon to Shelf — Since 2002

TellusChain was founded on a simple premise: the technology that moves a product from raw material to shelf should be as trustworthy as the product itself.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Adopting emerging tech from year one

We’ve never waited for a technology to become “safe” or “proven” before putting it to work. Our philosophy has always been the same: when a new technology arrives, we adopt it the year it arrives — testing it in the field, learning fast, and building it into the systems our customers depend on. That habit is the reason our timeline below reads less like a corporate history and more like a running log of the industry itself.

Industrial IoT Equipment

Our Mission

To give every link in the supply chain — from the field, to the factory floor, to the final shelf — a verifiable, secure, and connected record of where a product has been and what happened to it along the way.

Our Story

TellusChain opened its doors in 2002 with a single deployment: soil and irrigation sensors for a regional farming cooperative that wanted real data instead of guesswork. Two decades on, that same instinct drives us. Our engineers, agritech specialists, and blockchain architects still ask: what’s the newest reliable way to prove what actually happened to this product?

OUR TIMELINE

Our Technology Journey

2002

Founded

TellusChain launches with its first sensor-monitoring deployment for agricultural clients, laying the groundwork for what would become our Agritech division.

2003

RFID Tracking Adopted

As RFID moves from concept to retail mandate, TellusChain builds its first RFID-based inventory tracking pilots for supply-chain clients.

2009

Distributed Ledger Concepts

The year the first blockchain network goes live, TellusChain begins internal research into distributed ledgers as a foundation for tamper-proof traceability records.

2011

Industrial IoT Architecture

As the concept of a fully connected industrial internet is formalized, TellusChain launches its first IIoT monitoring architecture for industrial clients.

2015

Smart Contracts Adopted

The year programmable smart-contract blockchains go live, TellusChain begins piloting automated, contract-driven traceability checkpoints across partners.

2018

Enterprise Blockchain

As enterprise-grade blockchain traceability platforms reach maturity, TellusChain rolls out its first end-to-end blockchain traceability product.

2019

5G-Ready Sensor Networks

With commercial 5G networks going live, TellusChain upgrades its IoT sensor fleet to 5G-ready connectivity for real-time, low-latency field data.

2020

AI-Driven Predictive Monitoring

As machine-learning tools become practical, TellusChain integrates predictive analytics into its IIoT and agritech monitoring dashboards.

2023

Generative AI Adopted

The year generative AI enters mainstream enterprise use, TellusChain integrates it into supply-chain forecasting and anomaly-detection tools.

OUR ADVANTAGES

What Sets Us Apart

Two Decades of First-Year Adoption

We don’t wait out a technology’s early growing pains from the sidelines — we’re in the field with it from year one.

Full-Stack Coverage

From the silicon in a sensor to the ledger entry at the shelf, we build and maintain the whole chain.

Cross-Industry Depth

Our agritech roots and industrial IoT experience give us a rare vantage point across both raw production and complex logistics.

Security by Design

Every traceability record we generate is built to be tamper-evident and independently verifiable.

LOOKING AHEAD

Ready for whatever comes next

The technologies driving supply-chain visibility haven’t stopped evolving, and neither have we. Whatever comes next — from decentralized identity for products to next-generation edge computing — TellusChain plans to be running a pilot the same year it arrives.
